Our retzuot are crafted from ethically sourced hides, prepared with a commitment to vegan- and vegetarian-conscious values. While our aspiration is always to use hides from roadkill, to meet demand we may also prepare hides from hunted deer or from farm animals that died accidentally. Hunted animals lived fully wild lives until their final moments, and hides are purchased from individual, subsistence hunters. If you prefer one source over another, please let us know.
Each strap is cut, dyed, and finished according to halakhic requirements. Because of our sourcing practices, some natural variations in texture or coloration may be visible, but these do not affect their kashrut.
Kosher under the supervision of Rabbi Juan Mejia. Stock is limited; large or custom orders may require a lead time of up to one month.
