Judaism is in the midst of a seismic shift. As gender norms, global supply chains, and cultural exchange have developed all around us, the scribal arts have historically been reticent towards the innovation necessary to remain relevant. We believe Jews must adapt our practices (without compromising kashrut) to meet the needs of the hour.

Enter our Sacred Craft Lab, where we aren’t afraid to get creative!

Operating within the bounds of halakhah (under the supervision of Rabbi Juan Mejia), we are conducting sacred experiments to make the creation of ritual objects more humane, sustainable, ethical, and even fun.
