Study sofrut (the scribal arts)

Our scribes teach classes at all levels in both one-on-one and small-group settings, either in-person or virtually. We've taught rabbis and total newbies, and we always have a wonderful time.

We often teach the following topics:

Fundamentals of sofrut
Torah repair and maintenance
Writing a megillah
Writing tefillin and mezuzot
Making parchment, ink, pens/quills, or gid (in-person component strongly encouraged)
